2010 S4 in for 25k service

Dropped off my S4 for its 25k service, along with a rotate/balance, the T-stat and water pump recall, and to look at a strange clunking coming from the front left wheel. I'm also getting the start/stop button replaced under warranty due to the words peeling off. Dealer gave me a white 2011 A4 as a loaner so thought I'd make a few comments. On the not so good side, wow those rear headrests are HUGE! At what point did the potential reduction of injury from such a huge headrest override the permanant loss of rear visibilty?? Also, the non-nav MMI (is it 2G) is horrible - grainy display, very very slow, and a bit harder to navigate with the controls up on the dash. Not a big fan. On the good side, I love that pushing in on the volume roller on the steering wheel mutes the volume. Duh, ingenious. I hate how on my 2010 it cues navigation prompts. How stupid - anyone know if there's a way to change that?
I think the A4 is a pretty low trim level - I definitely appreciate the equipment level I have on my S4. Not to mention the power, suspension, wheels, tires, etc., etc. Hope the service goes well, I'll pick it up tomorrow.

Brought mine in for the 25K service last month and got a 2011 A4 in red. Its amazing how two cars that are suppose to be brothers are so radically different. It felt so soft and slow. Audi hit in on the head and with the S4 and made a car that is so superior in every way to the 335i and and C350. It literally is just a small step behind the M3 in performance. However after 80 miles behind the wheel of the A4, its very evident that it flails in comparison to the my old 328xi.

I'm guessing now that if you don't have nav it's a mute button, and if you do have nav then it's a voice prompt button. I'd love to see a poll of what we'd rather have!

i'm pretty sure the poll would say mute over nav voice prompt...but it would be interesting to do one!

Am I just spoiled?

For those interested, the 3.0T can achieve almost the same fuel economy level as the 2.0T if driven normally. I achieved an average 27mpg on a 1200km road trip. But we all know that we didn't buy this car based on fuel economy alone.

I wasn't very impressed with the 8 speed auto in the Q5 loaner I had. Sure, it accelerated briskly but it was far too busy when downshifting.
