Default 2011/12 S4 Prestige: Titanium Trim or Not?

I know this is not an earth shattering question, but I'm interested in opinions on the Titanium package (with Ibis white, if it makes a difference). In my mind:

Pros:
Black out grille and black out window trim

Undecided:
Wheels?? - Not sure I like these enough, but they seem to be growing on me and look like they will conceal brake dust a bit.

The Titanium pkg has a sinister look to it; the non-Titanium has a classier understated look - not sure which I will like for a longer period of time! Anyone want to weigh in with an opinion?

Thanks!

Big fan of the black grill and black window trim, however the wheels don't do it for me, I prefer the look of 5-tri's. You can always buy the black grill later for $450 if you think that is the best part of the titanium package.

I love how the Ti package looks. Makes the car look mean.

The black grill matches more with black or grey rims rather tan silver ones.

I think depending on the color/combo/styiling the TI package can make the car look good or make the car look cheap - that is how my eye sees it (remember everyone's eye is different in how they view and evaluate)

1. I think the TI wheels are the WORST wheels ever. They not only do not look good but also ruin the lines of the car.

2. On some colors the black trim is too much and makes the car look more plastic and cheap.

3. On some colors the non TI allows for the right contrast of tones to make the car look classy and elegant.

IMHO - I would not do the TI package soley because of the wheels but in some color combos it does look good (minus the wheels) but then you have to do a wheel swap or upgrade and that involves more $$$

Just my initial .02

Happy to trade my 19" Tri's for the Titanium wheels! 700 Miles on them, perfect, I'll throw in $500!

I agree with you on wheels detail.. they are ugly and make the car look cheap.

...and I bought it over an M3 I was working on. Sure it needs some tweaks to profile it out but its a sharp car to me. The normal B8 looks too much like the A6 imo... doesn't stand out or look sporty unless you get a high impact color that makes you look twice.

Have to say had I not encountered this one with the Ti package I'd probably be in a SpaceGray/FoxRed E90 M3 right now.... and bitching about the BMW interiors probably lol.

They did not have Ti when I ordered my car. I do have have one of the three bright B8 S4 colors though (brillant red, sprint blue, imola). If they did, I'd be running the black CH-R's on my Ti sprint blue.

Hal,
Your car truly does look stunning in Imola with Ti trim. A little hard to fly under the radar in that beauty!

...similar to my last B5. Love that look on the Noggy and Sprint colors. Pic of the "blue turd" for reference.
