2011 Prestige Wind Noise
I notice wind noise at top of both driver and passenger doors. Becomes noticeable at 40MPH and at 60MPH almost sounds as if a window is slightly open. Service Manager at dealer has confirmed the noise, but says it is "just the way the car is" and suggests there is no fix. I've ridden in my friends 2010 S4 and it does not make a similar wind noise. Also I traded a 2009 A4 and that car was quiet also. Anyone else encounter anything like this? Thanks!

Mine makes no noise at all-creepy silent unless windows are cracked/open and/or sunroof tilted or open but that's normal. Definatly force issue or go to another dealer for second opinion as would **** me off for a car of this caliber. Good Luck.

I just finished a 4-day round trip Boston --> Boone, NC in my '10 Prestige/S-tronic/diff. Over 1600 highway miles @ 70 - 80 mph. The cabin was quieter than my previous Lexus IS350 on the same trip. No significant wind noise or tire roar. Also managed 28 mpg for the trip, which included a couple of days tooling around in NC mountains.
You should definitely push this issue. Make them do a comparo with whatever S4s the sales dept is using for test rides.
