Careful with the dish soap, it can strip away protectants in places you won't remember or think of to reprotect.

That also meant I didn't need to go the Dawn route as there wasn't any dealer wax on the car.
Of course, I'm sure some dealer's do a better detail than others and this is less of a concern on some colors. YMMV.

I would recommend the claybar - I did mine and it picked up quite a bit. This is also why I asked the dealer NOT to detail my car. Actually, what I said to my dealer was "if you can guarantee I won't see any swilrls in the paint after you detail then go right ahead." They didn't detail the car.

That does it! I was waffling between black and the Deep Sea Blue...........THAT is a great color!
