2012 Invoice Pricing
Has this come out yet? I made a deal for my 2012 a few months ago at an agreed price above invoice. I'm told it's getting on a boat and is expected for 8/8 delivery, but that the #s won't be here til it "hits the ground."

But, there are regional fees embedded in the invoice price (for a $56k S4 it can range from zero to about $900), so invoice price is not constant like it is with some other makes. Audi and some other manufacturers charge regional advertising fees (a factory fee, not a dealer fee, so dealers pay it when they take the car into inventory).
Some people on this forum have said they did not pay any regional advertising fee. There is no source (that I have found, and I even called Audi) for the fees by region, and truecar's invoice price seems to assume worst case. For the western US they include roughly $900 for regional ad fees on a $56k S4 in their invoice, and for the eastern US, slightly less than half that).
In actuality it seems the regional ad fee is assessed on a finer granularity than just west versus east, and in some markets it's apparently zero.
If it's truly a factory charge, it has to be listed on the factory invoice. You'll only be able to get that from your dealer, not from truecar.com. Be sure you see the real factory invoice, not a "photoshopped" replica of it.
