2013 Audi S4 Specifications

I'm surprise at the 5% manual as well. In the forums it seems like a 60/40 or maybe even 70/30 split between the DSG and the Manual. Maybe the forum indicators are a little off though, due to the "enthusiast factor". My guess is that most of the people getting the manual are enthusiasts and therefor in the forums. I'm sure that most of the DSG owners here are enthusiasts as well, but it makes me wonder if there are a whole bunch of people out there getting the DSG S4, just because they want a faster A4, but not really having a clue on how awesome their car actually is...

Is it North America stats or worldwide? Because manual is only offered in North America.
If you look at previous years on that site you see higher stats on manuals, closer to people's expectations.

Maybe they have incomplete data this early? The site is now showing 6.5% manual instead of 5% so it's being updated.

I guess the days of owning a car that may make it to 100K without a major transmission problem are over.....it is rumored that the new S4/B9 will be auto only, that leaves me out of any future S4 purchase..
I remember when men were men and actually knew how to change a tire and shift a car!

Agree with another poster. Would have gone with an MT but have survived 3 broken backs, but still train and teach and the latest injury would have prevented me from driving if I had an MT.

I looked through a few other brands like BMW (3 series and 1 series and M3) and some of the numbers for manuals is in the 2% or lower range and in some cases less than 1%.
