My 2013 S4 arrived at Brunswick, GA port on 7/27. After several delays it was finally released to carrier on 8/6. It's only 650 miles to my dealer in MD. Can anyone who recently took delivery of their car comment on how long it might take to get here? Online I am reading 2-3 days (which already have passed) but AoA ETA to deliver now says week of 8/13. Any guesses???

Should be around 48-72 hours unless it gets held up at port for any reason. I had a few cars I had to deliver at one point and they were all held up at port for about a week before loaded on the truck.

Thanks for your response HyperS4. My car had been sitting at port for almost 10 days. I assumed "released to carrier" means that the shipping\trucking company has it. Do you think it could be further delayed even at that point. I thought customer sold orders got picked for shipment right away....

I am really hoping that you are right though and the car arrives by tomorrow...

Mine was sitting at the port for a week and a half. My dealer wasn't too happy about it as it was end of the year and it was sitting right next to an R8 that a customer was waiting on also. Mine was basically waiting until they could fill up a truck to ship it down.

That's what I am afraid of... I am hoping thats what the 10 day wait was about. Anyone else expecting their cars for same port at a DMV dealership????

how accurate is AoA ETA of "week of" 8/13 delivery date. I am really hoping for once that they are wrong!

How can I track my S4? My dealer said that there is no real way for us to do that like I could with my BMW. This not true?

No way I know of it as a customer. I can only track sold orders from my dealership. Your salesperson should be able to send you an email with a full eta timeframe for your car.

My salesperson is keeping tabs for me. I was just curious to see if we as customers could do the same.

Told mine is completed already and in transit or at the outbound dock.
