Hello,

I have just put in a pre-order for the 2014 Audi S4 and need to opinions on color.

I know I would like to stay with Grey and these are the 3 colors I am considering.

1. Lava Grey
2. Monsoon Grey
3.Daytona Grey ( $3000 )

any advice ?

Here's a compilation of colors somebody put together. I just noticed that my car is pictured to the right of the Daytona Gray S5!

FIRST, you can't get Daytona or Lava gray. They are both Audi exclusive colors for the 2014 S4. Audi has stated that they will not offer any non standard colors for the 2014 S4s. So I guess it would have to be Monsoon.

We called Audi yesterday and they have been able to confirm that the Lava grey will be offered on the 2014 S4.

I currently have a 2011 Daytona grey A5

with that in mind is there any other suggestions that you could offer me ?

I am also trying to decide on the rims between the standard S4 rims and the upgraded grey 5-spoke rims ?

The grey 5 spoke wheels are part of the Black Optic package that is "NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE" . Rumor has it that they are not going to be available at all. No offense intended. no offense taken. I have the 2014 S4 guide right here that states that the 5 spoke rims and Lava are available as separate options. both at a premium.

Are you in Canada? If so you could be right. But in the US, those colors and wheel options are not available. I ordered an new 2014 on 6/13. I was shown all options and colors available on the SA's computer monitor. The Black Optic package, which contains the 5 spoke gray wheels" is not currently available. Wheels are not available as a stand alone option. probably never will be. Lava Gray was not an available color in the US. Not trying to be negative, just trying to keep it real. You very well, will be disappointed you go to order the car in lava with 5 spoke Ti wheels and you can't get them. We have know on this and other forum for some time now that they are not available even though they might be listed on some type of order guide. I would be happy to be wrong for your sake.

I am sorry to be a pain. I really want to get this right. Yes you are correct I live in canada. so if the lava grey was an option would you still advise me to get the monsoon over the lava and daytona ?

if the 5 spoke grey wheels were an option would you suggest them over the standard S4 rims ?

Color is such a personal choice, get whichever YOU like best. One is not any better than the other. I'm not a fan of grey wheels. But not a fan of the 19" peeler style either. The 5 spoke titanium color wheels are the newest style that Audi offers. Should look good on a gray colored car
