Awesome news about it being lighter....but I can't seem to get excited about a turbo 4 engine S4/5
maybe they'll make huge improvements to the engines, but I'm wondering the weight loss will be able to compensate for the loss in hp + trq!?! I've driven a Lotus Exige and although it was super light it still felt underwhelming in terms of power when compared to my V8 S4.

the weight savings claimed by Audi are too good to be true. They are saying that the next A4/A5 will weight the same as the current TT. And this is with much bigger cars.
I would expect about 3,300-3,400 pounds for S4/S5 to be the best possible actual scenario. The current A4 2.0T is 3,600-3,700 and S models have bigger wheels/brakes.
