Does anything like this exist? I remember the hidden eq days from B6 and B7. My wife's avant has the same B&O system and it has much more midbass than my S4. I was hoping there would be a hidden EQ someplace in the hidden menu or the like.

Any ideas?

As an experiment try setting the DSP stage setting to FRONT. In my 2010 there is bass cancellation when DSP is set to ALL.

My wife has an A4 Avant. We both have B&O and hers has better bass than my S4 Sedan.

My theory is the acoustics are different and the Sedan has a null at certain frequencies. The typical way to fix that would be a 2nd subwoofer somewhere but probably not worth it.

Ben in the A4 forum had gotten details from B&O directly.
"Sedan has a 200mm "free-air" subwoofer that uses the parcel shelf as a baffle.
Avant has a 165 mm subwoofer in an 11L bass reflex ported cabinet placed within the excess space of the spare tyre."

Even though it is smaller perhaps the avant's cabinet works better than the "free-air" setup.

We both have aftermarket subs - Same amp and same sub. It's just the front 6.5" speakers that seem to be more powerful in hers. Honestly, it could be that there's less mid and tweet in her car. They're entirely too loud in mine.
