I've got the magma/black and the red stitching is a classy, yet sporty look. The seats, gear selector, steering wheel ... nice to have that "extra" touch.

The great thing about the seats in the S4 is that they are awesome regardless of what you choose and your preference!

I may have considered Alcantara but I think putting it on the insides of the doors is horrid. On the seats fine but I just can't get used to it on the doors. It's like having carpet up your walls!

But to each their own

Default Thanks members...

Your responses and photos have been very helpful.

We just can't go wrong with the choices we have.

The other great thing with Alcantara is that it a far better standard surface than the crappy leatherette stuff BMW offers...

If I can swing the payments, I will be going with Ibis White/Magma, Stronic (too much traffic around here), NAV, B&O, Sports Rear Diff.

Thanks again to all...

Does one hold up better to child seats than the other?

Alcantara will withstand the impression of a carseat, but ideally I would get one of the seat protectors anyway if I were you.

Leather feels better/softer, will probably look better years later, probably easier to maintain. I still chose Alcantra because of price, grip (IMO), and not as cold. A nice compromise between leather and cloth. Like wheel size and sport diff, it's another tough choice. Luckily, it's another choice that you can go terribly wrong with either.

I ordered Napa Silk but the dealer screwed up and ordered the wrong thing and I got Alcantara. Initially I was unhappy but now that I have lived with Alcantara for 3 months, I really like it. The feel is nice and it makes the car look sportier and fits with the S4 badge(to me). I'd say now you can't go wrong either way.(BTW, the dealer did sort of make it right by throwing in Audi Care for free)
