I just sold my brilliant black with napa (silver) 2010 S4 for a 2011 S4 brilliant black with black alcantera. I like the alcantera better, hence the choice to seek it out on the new car. Alcantera is more comfortable, seat heaters get hotter, makes the car feel sportier inside to me. Here's a shot, the car is a week old now. After having both in the same car/same exterior color -I can't believe I paid the extra $1000 the first time around.

Ordered mine with Alcantara based on my experience with my 04. I live in a cold climate in winter and hot in the summer. Alcantara is warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. As far as wear, my 04 with 95K miles is just starting to show some wear. I would choose Alcantara again.

If there had been a Magma/black Alcantra seat I definetely would have gotten it over the Nappa. Sometimes I want the Alcantra seats but I cant say they look better than the Magma/Black contrast.

I hate my nappa... not even 4K miles and my driver seat is already stretched, and I'm a medium build (5'11 160lbs), and sit properly so I know it's not the way I sit.

Only reason I really like it is because it's 2-tone, the contrast between red and black looks awesome. I woulda loved to get white alcantara.... might look into doing that... hmm.

Audi should definately have additional colors for the alcantara colors. The color contrasts of the napa leather is what makes it so appealing.
