If you order a wheel/tire package from Tire Rack, they will mount and balance them for you. You'll just need to get them installed/swapped.

I have the DWS tires and use them year round. Here in NJ we had one of the worst winters I can ever remember last year and these tires were absolutely awesome. I didnt get stuck once and I usually never wait for roads to get plowed so I can go out.

I'm sure the DWS tires are good however, I got top rated Michelin snows and alloy wheels mounted for $1600 vs $1000 for just the DWS tires. In my opinion the price diff justifies having two sets of performance tires and wheels that will give me the best handling for both summer and winter

I dont disagree with that option. I just didnt need another set of wheels on top of the extra set Im using year round now. I also didnt need dedicated snow tires as I have tried them in the past and only needed them for about 3 months each year. Wasnt worth the added expense when I could just keep the same tires on all year round and not give up too much in either direction.

Have the DWS and love them. However last winter blew one out on a pot hole and due to the national back order had to put my summer tires on in February. I was promised one of the first tires off the line in March by continental USA, but that of course never happened. Finally was able to get a hold of one in May. Great tire but horrible company that I will never do buisness with again.

I have the Conti DWS tires on my wife's Lexus and I like them . Good as any a/s tire will be in snow. Michelin A/s tires are also good but are more expensive and not as good in the snow. Michelins have better non winter performance. If I lived in your area of the country and got significant accumulations, I would go dedicated winter tires. In the Phila/NYC metropolitan area we don't get a lot of snow or many large accumulations. I also have an AWD Mountaineer to rely on as my winter beater. If I didn't have that I would definitely have a summer/winter set up.
