Alternating (revving) RPMs during highway cruising?

Does anyone else have this problem/issue/feature?
I have a 2010 with about 10K miles on it and just noticed yesterday that when in 7th gear, while coasting on the highway (foot off the gas), such as when going down a hill, the car rhythmically jerks to and fro a little bit. Was wondering what was going on and noticed that the tachometer was revving/de-revving just a little, just under 1 notch on the tach, in a rhythmic manner (a little tiny rev every 1 second or so). This seemed to be in a controlled manner but I have never noticed this before and seems strange, never had a car that has done this before and have owned so many. This is with the DSG by the way.
Should I take her in to get it checked out?
Thanks for anyone that can share anything.
