Will the payments on a loaded premium plus S5 be significantly more than comparable S4? My friend just got his S4 for $790/mo. That's less than my A4 right now. If the S5 is gonna be over $900, I think I'm definitely going to have to pass.

Never had and s5 but the engine in the B6 S4 is basically the same. For me, the engine is the deal breaker. The 4.2 v8 is just not a great engine. Gas guzzler and poorer performance than an B8 s4. Plus there is almost nothing you can do tho the 4.2 to make it significantly faster without spending a huge amount of money. I'd say S5 if it had the 3.o Sc engine. BTW, with the money you will save getting the S4 you can put on an exhaust that will make the s4 sound much better than a stock S5

The exhaust note on the S4 can be improved substantially with an after market exhaust, roughly $2000. It's a direct bolt on - no welding or modification required - so it's lease friendly.
If it comes down to sound, see if you can hear an S4 with a better exhaust before deciding.

Good to know about the exhaust...didn't think it was an option with a leased car. So you just get your stock exhaust put back on when you return the car?
Right now my biggest issue is that I'm loving the S5's looks right now. And would look much different from my current car.
However, all signs point to the S4 from a logical perspective.
Anyone know what a loaded prem+ S5 would run monthly? (36 mo, 12k miles)

Here's another video of my S4 with the Milltek Non-Res & the black S4 with the APR exhaust.

How much does just the milltek exhaust cost?
Can I easily swap the stock exhaust back at the end of the lease?

No - you have to find a local installer. I'm actually from Chicago as well and am about to purchase the Miltek exhaust, so I'll let you know who I go with for installation.
Here's a thread I just started at Audizine asking for some advice:
