Default Anybody with an ECU tune in the Denver area?

Thinking about finally jumping in, but would love to get a first-hand comparison between tuned and stock. Thanks a bunch.

Will be real curious to see how the tune works for you high altitude guys... I bet your not dumping much boost in stock mode? Can you vagcom some 436 and 702 values? If so include RPM(35), throttle position(24), and IAT(632)... this should really help tell the tale... If your making 11+ psi at redline for example with little to no bypass it may not help much... Of course you would get the benefit from the timing adjustments and such that APR makes but not the increase in boost... Again, not positive since I don't know how the car behaves at the alltitude... Didn't Forza do some testing out your way? Hopefully, he will chime in... later Ron

I've had the APR pulley and 91 octane ECU tune for about a month. Also have the Milltek exhaust. I live in Louisville, be happy to meet you sometime.

I would not recommend APR. It was great for several months (shoot maybe even a year) but when I thought the software damaged my turbo and inquired I got the cold shoulder.

Uhh...so I'll take a guess that you're talking about an experience you had with your B5 S4, which had somewhat unreliable K03 turbos and that you're attempting to apply it to the supercharged B8?

If you don't mind me asking, who did the install for you ? (Assuming you didn't do it yourself...)

I'd also be interested in meeting up sometime as I get my car next week hopefully.

Ahahah, gotta love 1 post wonders. I highly doubt APR gave anyone a cold shoulder, though I also doubt that if you had a problem with your turbo and APR refused to do anything about it we are hearing the entire story.

I ran APR for first ~4 years on my B5 S4, had no issues. My B5 S4 was very reliable for the 8.5 years I owned it. Went to K04's after awhile, but K03's were fine when removed.
