was on the fence at first. Much better n person than in pics IMHO. Now I kinda like it but what about 6 months, a year, will the novelty wear off?
I have agreed on terms for an Ice silver with black/silver alcantara and there is still 50% of me that thinks I should get an all black interior, even if it means waiting 4-6 months for a car.
I have a 22 pound chocolate lab that is just about 6 months old. she will be on the small side for sure...40-50 lbs I suspect. I know I can get a seat cover from Orvis for the back seat so that when I take her hiking i the summer etc. Looks like it is easy enough to clean and take care of...

At first a concern but looking at some of these seat covers by Orvis etc, I am not so worried anymore. From what I have read Alcantara is easy to clean. The covers strap to the back seat and cover the whole thing.
Yes, black would probably be easier.

I still love my silver/black interior, and get compliments on it all the time. It isn't terrible to keep clean, though you will have to clean it often. For your dog, Audi makes a OEM-branded cover for the rear seats that works very well.

Had a two-tone blue/black Mini Cooper S before, and I never got sick of it. Slightly more maintenance, but for me the two-tone interiors offered in the S4 are one the big differentiators between an A4 and an S4 from a style perspective. Can't wait for mine.....
