Anybody into Gran Turismo 5?
I know video games might be for younger generations, but I'm just in my mid 20's and enjoy to relax a little bit by doing some racing on the PS3. Does anybody here play GT5? I have learned so much in a week about racing and tuning its crazy! I am disappointed that Audi didn't have a better showing in the game: the only current performance models were TT's and R8's. What happend to the S4 and S5? Anyways, I highly recommend this game if you are into video games, racing or want to learn some racing tips if you don't track your car much.

I picked it up after thanksgiving, haven't had much time to really open the game up though. From the little I was able to explore, the game looks really good. Was bummed regarding the absence of the S4 though.

No shame in playing video games.... Been playing since I was a kid with the likes of space invaders, asteroids, and so on.... I am in my 30's and love playing.... COD Black Ops FTW.... KD ratio of over 1.5

GT5 is AWFUL compared to Forza. I played it for 5 days straight, got so frustrated that I couldn't take it anymore. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL game design, HORRIBLE UI, and so MANY stupid decisions. Veyron is a standard car while the Kubelwagen is a premium? WTF?

Yes, I love GT5 and have been playing since release. I agree with the OP about the lack of Audis; the B8 S4 and B7 RS4 were major omissions. Generally, the GT games are more focused on Japanese cars and are a little thin on the Euro selection.

There is an rs6 Avant in the game, costs almost as much as a Lexus LFA.
The game is really similar to the version I remember playing 10 years ago. They need to add some sort of physics based damage where if someone slams into you at 75mph from behind their radiator at least leaks and the car overheats.
I'm 32, I also play CoD black ops but still suck. I generally only fire up the ps3 in the winter, so I'm just getting back into it. My PSN name is the same as my username on this forum.

Plus, there's a ton of downloadable content for Forza 3. Not sure what the car count is, but it has to be well over 500 by now.
BTW - no shame in gaming. I'm 27 and don't think video games will ever get old.

I have a used RS4 (or might be S4) Avant that I picked up at the used car dealer. I have modded the crap of out if and she's now pushing just over 500HP and ~425lb torque. I likey!
Now I need to go back and get all the initial POS' that I need to do a bunch of the tracks.
I also have CoD Black Ops, but haven't played it yet. That'll be my holiday entertainment.
