Default Anyone Have Clear Coat Problem on Stock Rims?

I purchased a 2013 S4 with the 19 inch peeler rims on it. The was used, it had 5,000 miles on it. Before I took delivery I had the dealership repair 2 wheels that had curb rash on them. When I was cleaning the wheels today I noticed that one of the wheels has a spot on the face that looks like the clear coat been removed. I'm not sure if this happened during the repair or if it was like this to begin with. Is this repairable? Do you think it would be covered under warranty?

Sounds like you should have inspected the wheels more carefully pre- and post-purchase.

Cosmetic damage isn't covered under the warranty.

Sounded like it's the repair wheels that have issue and not the original. Does the repair wheels have warranty? I don't have any issue with mine.

The place where the clear coat is flaking isn't where the repair was made. Isn't clear coat failure of rims fall under warranty? HOw much much would it cost to repair clear coat flaking?

Question: Are you asking your dealer these same questions?
