Where are you guys finding straight and level stretches of road to do this? All the roads around me are somewhat hilly. Are you guys running in both directions and taking an average?

I read this like 2 months ago...and totally forgot about it.
It outlines how to do it...and the performance gain (on the RS5 mind you)

To do so: Set the trans to “dynamic,” shut down the stability control, and brake-torque the engine from a stop. The V-8 revs to 5500 rpm and then dumps the clutch—forgoing launch control adds about a half-second to the 0-to-60 run.
