Clipped my back wheel. Starting to think I need new glasses.
It is a road rash on the lip of the rim about 9 inches. I know they can be fixed. It is only cosmetic, but can't let is stay on such a beautiful car.
Can anyone recommend a body shop or wheel shop that specializes in repair? This would be in Maryland. Preferably in the Columbia Ellicott area.
I am changing to my winter wheels and tires in about 7-10 days so can simply take the wheel and tire to them.

Scratches were so minor I wet sanded them off with 220 metal type sand paper. Simply need them touched up and good to go.
Going to take them to a place called automoto solutions in Temple Hills, MD.
Seem to have a really good rep.

I can't remember the last time I owned a car that, no matter how careful I tried to be, a wheel didn't get whacked at least once on a curb. After the first christening, these days I'm not as upset as I used to be although it's still a head slapper.

It occurred to me that even though I am coming from a BMW, I have been driving SUV type vehicles for years now. And, I had a better peripheral vision sitting up higher.
Going to have to get my sight lines better. I don't know about the place recommended, but it should be easy to handle road rash as it is just simple body work.
I buffed out most of mine with a rotary wire brush and some Emory type sandpaper. Now it just needs a lacquer type coating and good as new.
