I agree the clutch is fine. Better than the B5 A4 clutch and the other assorted **** boxes I've owned but not as good as the RS4, not even close.

LOL point taken but I think what above poster said about the fact that for daily its better than aggressive driving.. Agressive driving with this clutch is no bueno. Its weird but maybe it has to slip to not damage components in the Quattro system.

+1 Mine is great. It holds up to aggressive driving just fine, but if you are going to track the car it may not hold up so well... Then again name one DD oriented luxury sports sedan that would hold up on the track with out modification.

My old G35 sedan with the same clutch set up as the 350Z was total garbage, it vibrated, was hard to put in gear and it popped out of gear whenever if felt like I was pushing it too hard... That car had other problems though and went back to Nissan rather quickly so I never did find out if there was a problem with the tranny.

This car has one of the best clutch/shifter combo I have driven, much better than my B6, E90 330 and the G35 at least... Hard to really remember the cars prior accurately.
