As expected, there are few rendered buildings in my immediate suburban area, but I was pleasantly surprised to see Gillette Stadium pop up when I pulled into Patriot Place yesterday.
As others have cited, in the 3-D view at lower magnifications (greater distance) the curvature of the Earth (horizon) is simulated. Zooming in utilizes the full screen.
The nVidia GPU is more than capable given the 7" screen.

BTW, I like the plan view that looks like a map best. It shows more area than the short screen of the perspective. Less goofing around with the reverse operation of the mmi ****.

It is obvious. No question about that. Just as obvious is that at that perspective, the end of the earth is not where the fogged area is. If the perspective was from say, 40 feet above the road, I would buy it.
BTW, I like the plan view that looks like a map best. It shows more area than the short screen of the perspective. Less goofing around with the reverse operation of the mmi ****.
