Well...and if you really want to save some money why don't you remove the $1,100.00 for the black wood inserts, they definitely won't increase the performance!
That's Mr. Ycore that's doing the black wood inserts. I've steered this thread all over the place (maybe the Sport Differential would have helped).

LOL! I just realized that! Anyway...I would order the Sports Diff any day before I would spend money on inserts.

My S4 came with the Stainless Steel mash inserts and I have to say they look awesome especially with the black piano paint that replaces the cheap looking silver plastic insert on the dash.

I wouldn't have spent the $750.00 on it but fortunately that's the car I found in stock. :-)

Ok, ok, I've yielded to the pressure and have asked them to swap the adaptive suspension for the rear diff. What's another 1k right?

Also, after seeing the aluminum/black wood inserts I would never remove them-- they are pure sex imho.

I agree that sport diff is more important than adaptive suspension, but if you can afford it, why not both?

FWIW, when I was shopping for a car I wanted the adaptive suspension. I drove the car with and without it. In the end I could not find a CPO with it.

Though I wonder what it would be like if I had full ADS, I can tell you the car rides nicely as a daily driver. My wife noticed the "roughness" when she rode with me on a fairly smooth highway, but what she was feeling was the impact of HP summer tires and 19" rims. (See, comfort mode suspension would have been nice to have.)

Based on your description of your "needs" I might save the money and get 18" wheels, perhaps with the all-seasons. That could make room for the adaptive suspension, and allow you to upgrade your wheels in the future.

PS, I get to feel my sport diff daily... good move.

18" A/s tires will have a more compliant ride. But for esthetic reasons, I would get the 19s. You can always soften the ride by running a lower air pressure in the tires at the expense of greater tire wear

I agree the 18s are not very nice looking (though I don't mind the fact they are 18"). My suggestion is for budgetary considerations. You can change wheels at a future date, but you cannot change in adaptive suspension.

So here it is! Just picked it up yesterday. Love the Estoril blue though it looks like it's going to be hell to keep clean. The blue really looks good with the alu-optic package imho. Now I'm trying to figure out what mods I should go for that will give it a more menacing look..

Definitely.

The car looks awesome though! If I could have a do over (I have the same color) I would apply Opti coat immediately.
