Maybe she's had success in her professional life and wanted to do something special for her husband. Or maybe she finally agreed to let him buy one after saying "you don't need it" for a while, and what a great way to do it. Either way, pretty cool to get the whole family involved.

You're right on both counts. She is successful professionally and wanted to surprise me. I'm very particular, but the car is perfect.

Agreed, and welcome to the forums! Now you can get to doing some modifications - though you will never coax a V8 sound from a V6, you can make the exhaust note far more aggressive (so you can actually hear one!) with some of the fine aftermarket samplings availible
