Sak how much bhp is a tune and exhaust going to add to your car?
Hint if you don't want to be painted as a hater than why make comments that the B7 is easier on your eyes yet you have a B8 and will buy another one if the avante becomes available? If the B8 is so hard on your eyes than why would you even buy the first one and consider another one. These are the comments that make people think you are a hater. LOL

). I like the way it looks. I just like my car better. Again...I owned a B8 before ANY of you. N'oublie pas! I was just explaining that there's no jealousy here. That's a bit of a pompous assumption, and hopefully it was in jest. I mean B5 guys certainly weren't jealous of the B6. B6 weren't jealous of the B7. If we all really liked the newer cars better, we'd just buy one. I had a B6 Avant, and loved the B7, so I bought one. When the B8 avant came out, I liked it too, so I bought one. As for a B8 S4 sedan vs. mine, I think your car is awesome...retarded fast...nice and modern looking, but I certainly won't be trading mine for one. It's a choice...just as you all aren't rushing to trade for a tuned 335is even though it is a good bit faster.What does exhaust and tune add to my B7? I have no idea. Probably not much...I have stock downpipes with gutted pre-cats but main cats intact...and a catback + a tune which really doesn't add much power peak wise, but it makes more available along the curve and changes the driving dynamics. Realistically I'd say the car makes 350-360 crank hp but about 320 torque. Cars with my mods usually run low 13s in the quarter mile. One friend ran 12.9 with these mods + LW rotors.

FYI I own an S4...and would never buy a VF or PES M90 kit. They're for folks who either are too stubborn to accept truth, or who don't read forums.
p.s. the B8 ran 13.2, right? Did anyone run a fast time? That same RS4 ran 12.6 in the spring...and that sucks frankly. A blown V8 should be threatening 11s. Mine will.

so that's a no? That RS4 ran 12.6 this weekend. Certainly if that B8 was as fast, thanks to your fire-starting implications, it too should run deep into the 12s, right?

that was an RS4/I own an S4.
that is a PES EatonM90 kit/I wouldn't trade a box of Golden Grahams for a PES M90 kit.
I have raced a B8 S4/you haven't raced a tune/exhaust B7 S4
here...I guess you guys (you, Volkl) just didn't know that bolt on B6/7 S4s are running in the 12.7-13.0 range pretty regularly.

110 mph is the only thing that matters. A better driver could get better than a 13.5. I know the Tl runs at least .3 quicker than 14.2 as well. Maybe they didn't launch the cars.
