This may be old news to you guys, but this absolutely blew my mind!!
RS4 is only marginally better in a straight line than an S4 with a seemingly quick "performance mode" plug in!

I just saw this video today and its what renewed my interest in the S4. Honestly I have started to become swayed by the announcement of the 2014 CLA45 and 2015 S3. Not a lot of car, but then again I don't have tall friends/family
.
Anyway I was wondering if anyone could explain what, aside from more power, the ECU flashes did as far as engine longevity and fuel consumption. Also, I seem to recall reading that a a switch could be installed to switch programs. Is that available?

This was an awesome video. The car in the video has an exhaust system on it as well- not sure how that affects the tune by Revo. If only the S4 could sound like the monster that is the RS4...

Fuel consumption: I haven't noticed any change.
APR and REVO both have program switching.

By the numbers, stock tune equals 1/4 mile runs in about 13.1-13.2 seconds, while my tuned car has run 12.4. 7-8 tenths of a second translates to about 7-8 car lengths by the end of the 1/4 mile, which is big.
The difference in feel and performance is startling - the car is FAST now, whereas before it was just fast (lower case;-).

I've flashed both my S4s (2010 and now my 2013) with the Stasis 91 and I can honestly say it's very noticeable increase just with the ECU modification alone. In both cars, the experience is much nicer after the flash, better throttle response, more power throughout the power band especially above 5000 rpm, and a noticeable increase in MPG (2-3 on average). It really makes it a much different car.
When I got my 2013 back last week, it was even more noticeable than the flash I had on my 2010. I'm not sure if Stasis/Revo have bettered the tune, or the ECU programming in the 2013 is different to allow for more gains.

My car ran a best of 12.79 with v1.0, vs. 12.47 with V2.0, so the better performance of the newer tune isn't your imagination.
The better low-end power and throttle response of v2.0 are even more impressive to experience than the measured increase in performance, IMO.
