cirlce audi just offered a Revo ECU flash for about 1800. they are doing a special one day where they bring in a stasis engineer and perform a number of them. I asked about impacts to warranty and they said they mark it as TD1 and then Stasis covers engine and tranny up to the normal warranty where audi stops covering those parts.

Do you like your Stage 2 APR upgrade? Trying to decide whether or not I should go with APR or Stasis. I don't know anyone with APR yet but I do with Stasis. However, my shop is APR certified and have done the B5 stage 3 about 10 times and numerous B6 and B7 upgrades but no B8's yet. I have a 2011 S4.

I'm looking at picking up the S4 soon, and this is the one thing I'm so torn on... I've had chips in ALL my previous vehicles (STI, Raptor, Focus ST, etc) and never had issues with warranty. That being said, I also never had a major claim where they looked into the ECU closely.

I'd love to buy the S4 with the intention of keeping it 3-5 years, with a warranty intact the whole time... only because of the people that say how expensive they can be to fix.

That being said... how many "newer" S4's have you guys seen or heard about with tunes that had major issues, and warranty work denied? Does it happen all that often?
