Thanks for indulging me. "Coming" seems relative when they talk about the RS5 in 2012. By then BMW will probably be out with the turbo 6 M3 that will no doubt leave it in the dust with newer technology.

The current M3 already leaves it in the dust so...Yea.

Of course the RS5 has difficulty hanging with a B8 S4 stock vs stock, chip the S4 andthe RS5 is toast.

The F32 M3 won't be out until 2014 which means probably 2015 in N.America. Hardly around th same time. Anyhow these two cars are completely different is driving behaviour and execution so I don't think they will appeal to the same customers to the extent that either brand are that concerned with which each are doing and neither should you really.

are you talking acceleration figures, neal? If so, the RS5's times are quite a bit quicker than a stock B8....

Presumably the TT RS will be here a bit sooner, but it doesn't look like there's any real date for it either. I had heard that Audi had really abandoned the performance market in the US to focus on the small, economy engines and diesels. The rumors are nice, but in the meantime you can't even get a TT with a 6 speed.
