I went around him on the right, reeled him in slowly, and passed the $58K base, 420 hp/417 torque, 4024 lb (mfr curb weight), car. 0-60 of the Infiniti is measured by Edmunds Inside Line @ 5.3 seconds. But, I don't think the owner of the new Infiniti was too happy!

Car and Driver shows a 0-60 of 4.7 seconds amd 13.2 seconds at 108mph in the quarter mile.

Sheez! No wonder it was harder than I thought it was going to be - esp. when C&D reported an S4 can only make 60 mph in 5.1 secs or 5.3 secs for the S-Tronic!

when did they test that? Those sound like Audi released figures that all periodicals quote on their 'first drive' where they aren't allowed to performance test the car, just get a feel for it.

That's encouraging. From a stop, I am confident against most challengers. However, from a roll at 35mph, I am not sure.

Just went up against a Camaro SS last night. I felt he was about to pull on me until we got to a stop light. I am not sure if he even tried when it turned green. I was several lenghths in front until I let off.

Took out a 300M Hemi from a roll a few months ago. He didn't want another chance when we got to a light.

I noticed an E55 in my side view stepping on it. I pressed on the gas but it was too late. He had the momentum and passed me. I maintained the distance but I was not able to reel him in before he turned off.

The M56x was my second choice. Price was the main reason
