Default Brake & Rotors Question with pics

Hi, guys have a couple of questions. Right when you about to come to a full stop do u feel like a slight bump on the brake pedal? does your rpm moves up a little bit?

Cleaning the car today i was checking around the wheels is the rotors suppose too look like this? Car only have 300 miles

If you have a DSG the little RPM bump could possibly the transmission making it's last shift from 2nd to 1st as you are coming to a stop. This would be completely normal.

Would you still get that slight bump feel when coming to a full stop?

Yes, very slight, as the DSG will shift to neutral (well it applies both clutches) to take it fully out of gear right as you are coming to a total stop. Remember this is not an automatic with a torque convertor, if it came to a stop with the gear in, the car would stall.

I'll pay more attention the next time I'm coming to a stop as my car is a MT.
