If you use the alignment pin in your tool kit, be careful not to break it!
When I changed my summer wheels to winter, I broke off the plastic alignment pin in my wheel bolt hole. If you aren't familiar with the pin, it can be used when changing wheels. You screw the pin in after removing the top-most wheel bolt and the pin helps hold the wheel while you spin the other bolts off, and aids in sliding the new wheel (or spare) on and getting the wheel bolts aligned with the bolt holes. I wasn't careful when I put my wheel on, and hit the pin with the wheel and it snapped off in the bolt hole. Not a huge deal, I just drilled it out, but it would have sucked to been on the side of the road changing a flat and have that happen. IMHO, I wish they would have spent the extra $.20 to make this thing metal and it wouldn't have happened. But, given that it is plastic, just be careful and you'll be fine. I think I'll try to find a metal replacement...

I just got one last week and it works great, and no fear of it breaking.

I did not know there was one in the tool kit. I always just did it the hard way. I have used alignment pins in the past for other car projects, but it did not seem to be enough bother to do it for the wheels.
