Almost time for new tires, and was wondering if the tires thru Costco are a better value than going thru TireRack? I like the service that Costco throws in for the free tire rotations. Thanks.

price them both out and make the call. I use Discount Tire that will match or beat Tire Rack.

Be aware that Costco will not vary from OEM tire specs. They refused to sell me UHPAS tires on my last S4 as they were not "Y" rated like the OEM summer tires. I told them that they are "W" (168 MPH) rated M+S tires and the max speed limit is only 70 MPH. It did no good.

95% of time they will and you'll save on any shipping charges.

Tirerack=no sales tax depending on where you live.

Discount Tire which is the same company as Americas Tire provide free rotations & know how to care for your wheels. They will match Tire Rack pricing. I have had good results with both companies.

The problem with Costco, is the weak selection of tires.

but costco has the hot dog/soda special for $1.50.....that should count for something.
