Default Curious if I got a good deal.....

On a whim last week I traded in my 08 A4 for a 2012 S4. I got the following options, S4 P+,19" 5 star rims, navigation, advanced key,Backup cam, sports differential, B&O, S Tronic, Carbon Inlays, Parking Sensors, Ice silver Metallic. Sticker was $56,600. My trade in lost me $1100 so no equity there. I put $1200 down which included Audi incentive money and first payment. I have 12k per year for $629 a month. That also includes Audicare and Resistall. I was just curious if you guys thought this was a good deal. I did buy my wife's Q5 from there in Sept for what I thought was a good price as well. Thanks guys!

To know whether you received a good deal or not additional information would need to be known. What was the actual buy price and did it include a $1500 loyalty credit. A website such as TrueCar will provide some good information such as invoice with your listed options. Invoice will your listed options is $52,990. Add $500 for profit and $1100 for negative equity but subtract $1500 for loyalty credit. This would put your purchase price at $53,090. How close is this number to your price?

For leasing, it is common practice for the Finance Mgr to mark-up the money factor (interest rate) plus acquisition fee. Knowing this information base levels would improve your negotiations.

BTW, nice S4. I don't own one but it is on my radar for this summer.

You already did the deal so there's nothing to be gained by worrying about it now. Plus it involved a trade-in which none of us can assess. Enjoy your car and forget about things you can no longer do anything about.
