I am planning to remove those pesky 'T' badges this weekend. Anyone have some tips or tricks that have worked for them in the past for de-badging their car? What adhesive remover is recommended? What not to use. Saw someone using a heat gun, someone else using Goo Off. Thanks for the help.
P.S. I am not going to use this method...

I've heard a couple of ways to accomplish this.
Let your car sit in the sun for an hr, then use dental floss to go in behind the badge and pull it along the badge. There will probably be some adhesive left, so you'll need to use something like 'goo gone' to get rid of the residue.
or
Use a hair dryer (or professional heat gun) to heat up the badge, but don't just point it at the area. You should use a swiping motion back and forth across the badge to heat up the glue. Then you can use fishing line to do the same as above.
I'll probably just have the dealership do mine before delivery.

I would personally avoid a heat gun. They tend to be much hotter than a hair dryer making it too easy to do some paint damage. The floss should take off the bage no problem. What is left I would get off with a clay bar. I would be worried about what things like goo gone, etc would do with the clear coat. Keep in mind they are a solvent to some degree. I'm not saying they will harm anything, but I wouldn't do it
The eary way, have your dealership do it at delivery!

Don't have to worry about the quad pipes giving you away now, someone nabbed a shot of the new Milltek exhaust not yet released over on Audizine

Thanks for the help Gents.
I have yet to take them off, Washington weather sucks.
I have been thinking about about replacing the V6T with the supercharged badge that has been floating around.
