Just got me new S4 a few weeks ago. Loving it. I had a sprint blue B7 S4 between 2005-2008, so glad to be back in the audi family.
Anyhoo, I'm not super familiar with the option packages, etc. I thought Audi Drive Select was a separate (and more expensive option) than the sport rear diff. So I was playing around with the MMI options tonight and I had this screen:

But my window sticker shows this...

So I'm confused. Do I have ADS? Is it just part of the presitge package? Did the dealer mess up and give it to me for free?
I already got a pretty good deal IMO. $2K off the sticker price, plus free audicare, and window tint. Maybe not the best ever, but I love the car and couldn't be happier, so can't put a price on the smile on my face when I drive it!
Curious as to the ADS vs. sport diff pricing though...

Your photos are not coming up. Anyway, if you have NAV, the ADS buttons should be off to the left of the center area of the dash, with Comfort/Auto/Dynamic and Individual below those buttons. With no NAV, it should be right behind the shifter on the center console panel.

Do you have the buttons I mentioned? That's where the Drive Select settings are AFAIK. The MMI settings are for individual settings, like if your in Auto mode, you want Dynamic for steering instead of Auto.

You only have Sport Differential (ADS lite), not full ADS
Those are the three selections for the Sport Differential;
Steering
Throttle
Sport Diff.
If you had ADS, there would be a forth line item for;
Suspension

Ahhh, gracias amigos. I thought for a sec I pulled one over on the dealer. Would of been nice, but like I said originally, I couldn't be happier with the car.
Back on topic though, what's the difference between selecting between "comfort," "auto" and "dynamic" on the dash buttons (I guess those control the read diff?) and selecting the options on the MMI? Even if I put everything in dynamic on the MMI screen, the dash button will still be in auto mode.
Sorry if this has been covered a million times and fully expecting "search noob!" as a reasonable response.
