Default Disappointed in 2010 S4 pacakges

I just saw the 2010 S4 order guide posted in the B8 A4 forum. I'm disappointed that autodimming mirrors are in the Prestige package and not in the Premium Plus package, like the 2009 A4s. I live in NH and kinda wanted to avoid getting 19" wheels since my 2004 S4 18" already take a beating from the roads around here. I like the looks of the 18" ‘5-double-spoke S design' wheels better than the 19" '5 tri-spoke" wheels.
I'm also afraid of how much the sports differential and the full Drive Select option is going to be.
I really get the feeling Audi is setting up the options to really drive the price of the car higher.

use the 19s for summer and downsize for winter.

I can't wait to drive the car and see what it's like, tho the shape of those front LEDs are a tough sell for me.

My big concern will be pricing - this could be good or...not so good. Considering that Audi has dropped the 3.2 for 2010, that leaves a fairly significant gap between the 2.0T and the S4. While I'm not assuming Audi will lower prices to fill the 3.2 gap, I would expect the S4 to price in lower than the outgoing model.

i hope you're right but I could easily see a loaded s4 running hi 50's maybe even low 60. hope that they keep it below a maxed out 335xi (52k)

most definitely in the same range as a loaded S5, so $60k easy.

This is my big fear right now. A loaded S5 is $74,XXX (in Canada), and I'm fearful that the S5 will be similar.

Unfortunately, the 335xi (a close competitor) is $61,XXX fully equipped. That's a big difference for comparable vehicles.

At $65K CDN, I'm all over the S4, as it has Quattro (better than Xi) and a nicer interior. Anything more, and I won't be able to justify the added expense over the 335 (this would be sad).

Let's hope that Audi recognizes where the true competition for the S models lie, and prices accordingly.
