I was in line to get the ECS black grille but it got pushed 2 months and I figured at that point $600 is a lot of money for plastic.

So I bought Sfour's stock grille and decided to paint it myself.

Outer bezel : multiple coats of VHT nite shades with multiple coats of clear coat.
Inner grille : VHT black bumper and plastic paint
Audi Rings : Plasti dipped in case I decide to go back to chrome.
S4 badge : Trimbrite blackout tape on the red.

Will install in the next week or two.

Looks good. I've been thinking of removing mine and plastidipping the whole thing. This only confirms my desire to get it done!

So you blacked out the S4 badge as well?

As for the rings, what did you mean "you decided to go back to chrome", just the outer edges?

Yes I used trim brite blackout tape on the S4 badge, it can peel right off.

For the chrome Audi rings, I removed them and sprayed them with plasti dip.
If they look funny on the car then I can just peel the plasti dip off so its like it never happened.
