Default drive select default on startup

Anyone know why audi does not give the option to pick how you want the car to default on start up? I know I would like to pick dynamic or individual. I understand that there is a vagcom mod for this but it seems like something that was overlooked. I feel like it would be pretty simple to have a "default" check box in the MMI menu.

I guess i will just mark this down with no A2DP in the "Just Because audi felt like it" bucket

Because ADS varies throttle maps, for EPA reasons . . . . the car has to start in the government approved setting. You can change it via VCDS. . . .but that's the reason.
