I've only driven my S4 a few times and it only had 9km when it I got it. I find that sometimes coming to a full stop or starting from a full stop the DSG doesn't feel smooth disengaging. Has anyone else felt that? Its not all the time mind you but on occasion I've felt it. More so stopping then starting... starting would be the slight hesitation that people have said they've felt. But having driven a standard car for awhile I have a feeling its saving itself from stalling when your foot is on and off the gas at slow speeds.
Hope this makes sense... just wanted to see if I was alone...

I think this is normal for most DSG cars. I had the same problems in my Evo which had a dual clutch tranny as well. The DSG's wont' be as smooth as a traditional auto transmissions.
