Yep. EU-wide (I think) the 2 years (unlimited mileage) is standard and in Germany at least you can purchase 1, 2 or 3 additional years (with mileage limits).

This is what I did. I got quotes from several Audi dealerships and Troy at fidelity (Audi also uses fidelity)emailed the dealer's finance person and asked them is they could match or beat the other quotes. I was more interested in the power train soooo, the best I got was $2118 (100 ded) for 5 years 60 k from a well rep dealer or $2000 from Troy(well rep also) Remember, the initial quote you get from the dealer usually is very high and can be haggled down as much as half

Also know that if purchased in state from your dealer there most likely be taxes, which could add another couple hundred $ or so.

My post is old and not as relevant anymore but I thought to correct the quote I got from the dealer. See below

2/24 = $2584
3/36 = $3255
4/48 = $4084
6/60 = $4975

There are factors that come into play when you get quotes.

Deductibles, what plan is it (PT, Gold or Plat?) etc.. Remember, just because they spit out those prices, you don't have to pay that much.

Hey guys, I have the option for a 2011 Cert Pre Owned with 60k miles. It comes with the 6 yr/100,000k warranty.

Now I was planning on getting a extended warranty but should I bother since it has the 100k warranty on it already? Just wait a year or two and then get an extended one (not audi but aftermarket).

Thanks. Can't wait to join the crowd!

The Audi CPO warranty covers pretty much the same components with the same exclusions as the Fidelity Platinum extended warranty except it excludes radio, sound system and nav components (but no deductibles), so no need to duplicate coverage for the 2 extra years/100K miles, whichever comes first). Note that Audi does not offer extended warranties (other than CPO on pre-owned cars). They are third party warranties only, even though they are usually sold by Audi dealers.

You sure it's 6yr 100k and not just 2yr 50k on top of your factory warranty. Usually, CPO warranty is two years, since it's a 2011 it would give you approx 3yrs of coverage, but if it is 6yr/100k on top of the factory 4 yr/50k that's a very good deal, warranty wise.
