Not to sh*t on your thread, but a LOT of us will be at ATCO the Saturday after, February 25th. We should have all 3 tunes represented and likely a BIG turnout of S4s in general.

It's on AZ, not sure if I should link it here.

By all means please come! I'm driving further than anyone to get there, except maybe one other S4.

1. he has an RS4...and is just inviting S4 guys to join him and a bunch of other cars at a private track rental.

2. his location is a few hundred miles west of ATCO...so it's more relevant for people in the maryland, virginia area...thus won't really step on the toes of the new jersey/new york guys going to ATCO

3. his event is a week earlier, thus not being **** on or stepped on in any way by the 10-12 car B8 group going to ATCO on the following weekend. Remember, this is a private strip rental event with a group of about 50 cars vs. you 10-12 guys going to fight the 300 public cars that mob ATCO on Saturdays. Very different event. I think you guys should relocate to MD to be honest!

Anyway, no reason people can't go to both.

Yeah. People are going to be at Atco all day and get 3 maybe 4 runs in with a ton of time sitting in the lanes.

LOL, thanks Saki...

Yeah, didnt realize MIR was that far south...whereas ATCO pretty much splits Baltimore and NY.

Tell me when (not if) you're going to make it to TMP this spring, like I told you earlier, and Wed or Friday, it's on my way home.

haha sounds like no choice for me!

I want to get deeper into the 12s while stock, so I'll go a few times in the spring (Saturday or Sunday mornings). I haven't carbon cleaned yet, and have yet to really launch the Rs4 well (1.9 all the time unfortunately).

The weeknights dont' seem to get going till the summer?

I'll keep you in the loop.

This event looks pretty terrible. There are four tracks at Summit Point, WV, where you can actually learn how to drive your car (see: BMW CCA driving schools). The S4 barely eeks out a 12.9 in the 1/4 mile. You're not exactly going to blow anyone's mind unless you've got a fox body mustang with 550 hp that does it in 10 seconds.

LOL! Road racing and drag racing are not for everyone... some like none, some like one and some like both... Me I like both but drag racing is more accessible on a regular basis, cheaper, and way less wear on the car...

As for the S4 "blowing anyone's mind" I'm a little old for trying to impress folks with my car... However, my S4 gets just about the most comments/questions/looks at the strip over any car there and it has been this way since I started taking it there... people are more impressed by a 4K luxury brand car running 11's than a fox body running 10's... Just my .02
