I love everything about it. I just really can't get use to the fact that they did away with the aluminum trim details. That's what set the S4 apart and makes it even more exclusive.

I get what you mean by exclusive but I love the way my car looks. I never really liked the silver/aluminum mirrors. I chose the Titanium package to delete the chrome trim around the windows and grill. On a white car I'm not a fan of chrome or silver. Now Black would be a different story. When I was trying to find a 2011 Titanium Ibis the mirrors were the one thing that bothered me but I could live with. It wasn't until after I had already placed my 2012 order that I found out the titanium package gave the S4 body color mirrors. Needless to say I was very pleased and think Audi made a great choice for the 2012 titanium package.

Hi Guys,
I need an advice from owners of b8 S4 in North East region. I am planning on buying a 2012 S4 and really love how the car looks with 19" wheels, both regular and Titanium package ones. Being from NYC, my concern is with possible damage to wheels from the myriad of potholes around the five boroughs. Also, 19" wheels only come with summer performance tires which, obviously, don't make a whole lot of sense considering NE winters. Should I simply buy a separate set of wheels/tires for winter? Can somebody with a B8 S4 with 19" wheels share their experience of driving the car in winter/snow conditions?
Thanks to all!

I live about 40 mi north of NYC and occasionally commute into the city. The roads can be rough and if I'd chosen my wheels based solely upon practicality I'd go with the 18" wheels. However, here's what I'm going to be doing:
- got a 2011 P+ with 18" wheels + wheel hazard coverage ($600)
- the 18" wheels are will be my winter wheels with Dunlop winter tires
- I'll be buying a new set of 19" wheels + tires next spring
- selling the original 18" Pirellis with 2K mi and almost zero treadwear
If you care about safety and performance then you want a set of winter tires for the winter and summer for the other 9 months.

Except that it's only available with Prestige now
. I wish I had known that in March because I would have ordered a Premium + 2011 with Titanium Sport Package. Damn you Audi. I agree though; Ibis with TSP looks amazing; I will be jealous I guess.
