Adaptive steering is pretty rare since it has to be prestige with driver assist package. I think Audi should group Adaptive steering with adaptive damping and make it available to PP+ cars. BMW 3 did that and it is only 1K for the steering and damping combined.

It's much better than my 2010 S4 steering wheel, thicker than the MY10 as well which i hated how thin it was

A number of cars have the flat bottomed wheel including my 07 GTi. My former 2010 S4 had two shortcomings compared to my GTI the steering wheel ad the shifter. My 2013 addressed both those issues. The first few times I drove my 13 the wheel felt awkward. This new wheel is thicker and has a smaller diameter than the 2010 S4. The stiching is beautiful. The four rings is very detailed and looks amazing. I can honestly say this new wheel is worth $1,000 over the old one. The new shifter is also heads and tails better than the God awful 2010-2012 cheap as sh/t shifter.

I really like it as it gives a tactile response to where my wheels are pointing without me having to check orientation upon entering the vehicle.
It is easier to get in and out of the vehicle.
Long cruises I dont bump my legs when moving them to prevent them cramping.
Finally,,it does look cool
