Default Get rid of odor

I took the car in to the dealership to look at a DRL issue and now the car smells as if a sweaty mechanic's been in it for hours. I can only describe it as stale oil and sweat. The console control **** is slick/slimy. i "cleaned" what i could feel but the odor is persistent and it actually seemed to stick to my clothes. How do i get rid of this odor and tell the dealership nicely. after all, i would need to bring it back for future maintenance and such.

1Z Einszett Cockpit Premium on all the interior plastic surfaces and Klima Klear in the climate control system should take care of your problem. Hit the seats with Leatherique (assuming you don't have alcantara) and you'll be good to go. If the smell persists, you may want to look into having a detailer shampoo and/or steam the carpets.

Some detailers use some sort of ozone treatment as well. Its a special machine and i dont think too many people have one...

I would take it back to the dealer and let them clean the car. Maybe it will earn your business back cause I bet you don't plan on going back there again!

But is does remind me of a Seinfeld valet parking episode.

I used a product similar to this: http://www.beckart.com/wastewater_tr...t/aqua-tab.php

Actually I think it contained the same stuff. The only issue with it is that there is a strong chlorine smell after, but it dissipates after a couple of days. I cant remember the site I used to for the system that I bought in the past.
