Default Gloss black A4 grill on S4

It is a direct swap. Though mentioned in prior posts, I've not seen a pic of it on a black car. The grill is available as an Audi OEM item from OEMplus.com for $240.00 USD.

Those old replica AMG wheels are hideous in that application.

Well, Obviously I don't agree. The fussy split multispoke OEM wheels look weird to me. All a matter of taste.

When I see those rims I think AMG, not Audi, I'm just not a big believer in putting rims that are undeniably AMG on an Audi. Something about it is just off to me.

Yup,they are a classic 5 spoke design, true Mercedes style and popular several years ago. I think the S4 is kind of "chunky" looking and the wider spoke 5 star pattern just matched well. The OEM wheels are almost generic. Every SUV seems to have a similar pattern. I'll say it quietly; my friends X5 has very wery similar wheels to the 18X8 Audi OEMs.
I was hoping to make this a thread on the grill which I think is a great upgrade, but I guess wheels are Ok to talk about. Look again, I think you will see that they match the car once you get it out of your mind they are basically a Mercedes pattern and "disloyal to being distinctively Audi".

Most people would ask why you stepped down to the A4 grill when there's a Black S4 grill available.

I don't have an issue with it... it's not like you're fakin' the funk by putting S4 badges on an A4

Because the black S4 grill doesn't have the chrome ring around it. Just looks like a blackout to me-just didn't like it compared to the A4. If the S4 grill had the chrome surround, I would have gotten it. The A4 s-line grill also has a more open weave. Check out the Black S4 grill vs the A4. I guess the last pic didn't come through either. I'll try again.
