Is that stuff heat resistant? I might think it could melt from the heat of the exhaust.

I believe it is vinyl. Water resistant? Yes. Heat resistant????

sorry...I guess I don't understand why someone would put fake carbon fiber vinyl on their $40,000+ car...especially with all those minor scratches on the car, would have used the money towards a good swirl remover and cleaned that up. I think it looks tacky and makes it look like a cheap ricer, but you did a great job on it and if that is what you like then great.
