Maybe I haven't figured MMI out completely. But from what I can see you get the Album, Artist, etc. categories with music on the hard drive, but not on SD cards. I copied one for one from a card, and all the cataloging appears in the screen after opening the Jukebox, but not the SD card.
From the SD card, the system simply picks up the file structure you create on the card - and it does not pick up the ID3 info (for example, you can't play music by Genere from an SD card).

I think when you "import" to the HD (aka Jukebox), the system picks up the ID3 tag on each song file - thus you get "artist", "genere", etc.
From the SD card, the system simply picks up the file structure you create on the card - and it does not pick up the ID3 info (for example, you can't play music by Genere from an SD card).
