Is it still under warranty, mine went back to normal after a restart, I took it to the dealer and they replaced the cluster under warranty.

This has never happened on my red DIS from the 2010. It's likely the embedded computer crashed.

This just happened to me last night. Tried to turn on/off and reset a few things in MMS but nothing.

Would unplugging the battery reset it?

I turn my car on this morning same issue, white screen. My car was cold so im waiting to see if it comes back to normal , finger's crossed.

We have an A4 Avant and we get the opposite...the center LCD screen turns completely black. We get a couple of 'bings' from the car, then nothing. We've had this going on for a year now, off and on. During our winter it was pretty much on, and now that the weather is warmer, for some reason it is going out more than it was. I think you can buy just the screen and have it replaced, am trying to figure out where to get one. I talked to our Audi dealer and they will not replace just the screen. They will only replace the entire instrument cluster, and that costs at least $2k. Any suggestions?
