Holy Crap, any of you ppl getting your cars getting the Ti Pkg?
From my dealer today:
"You ordered the car at the end of June. Your ETA is 12/05. The Titanium Pkg delays the order 6-8 weeks, but the car could arrive earlier than this ETA. We just have to wait to see how the build progresses."
To which I replied:
"As in DECEMBER 5th?????"
He confirmed:
"Yes, 12/05. A memo was sent out re the Ti Pkg. It adds some delays to the order. Est. delays of 6-8 weeks."
Any of you getting your cars getting the Ti Package? Did I just order at the wrong time?

I have read about Ti pkgs creating delays do to shortage. Good thing you didn't order a special paint as you could have ended up like the guy on post #394.http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...look-up/page10

When I was on the fence about what to order, I was told by my dealer that the Ti package is being delayed specifically because of the wheels.
6-8 weeks sounds about right. Sounds like you caught the dealer without an allocation right away.

Honestly I dont know, He told me that he could do it but I told him I didn't want to because I wanted to save up more money for it. The original day it was going to arrive in port was Sep 19th and he said it is still due in the same. So I dont know what he did or why it's going to take 50 days to get from Germany to San Diego.

I ordered my car 6/27 with Ti pkg and it is scheduled to be on a boat headed over on the 13th.. But when I ordered my dealer did warn of possible delay, glad that didn't happen
